The Scaling New Heights conference, which was sponsored by Intuit for the second straight year, is known for its in-depth training sessions, and this year was no exception.  Over 750 QuickBooks Pro Advisors and accounting practitioners attended, with a large appetite for learning.

The QQube and Excel training was sold it within two months of the first announcement, and accommodations were made to expand the classes and number of participants.  There was a waiting list of over three dozen attendees!

Those who managed to get a seat at the table were breathing a sigh of relief.

Mario Nowogrodzki, CPA, CITP

First, Mario Nowogrodzki, who operates Mendelson Consulting in Pembroke Pines, FL, and who has received numerous industry awards including "2010 Technology Pacesetter" by AccountingToday magazine and "2008 Killer VAR" by Accounting Technology magazine gave a day long boot camp on the use of QQube with Excel.

He covered basic QQube elements, and intermediate training on Sales, Job Costing and financial subjects.

Participants were treated to a free copy of the Single-User version of QQube for their efforts.

Gale Kirsopp

Next, founder Chuck Vigeant, with the help of Gale Kirsopp of Kirsopp Consulting, provided in-depth training on the use of QQube with SAP Crystal Reports.

It was the second year in a row, that the training was offered at Scaling New Heights, and participants were treated to the deep, detail training they had asked for.

7 sessions, and 10.5 hours of intensive traning later - the class had learned about:

  • The anatomy of report development

  • Where to find the data

  • Using SAP Crystal Reports

  • Writing reports

  • Creating solutions that solve problems
