QuickBooks Access to Company Notes Field | CLEARIFY

I'm looking for a clean way to include/exclude sets of companies in reports from the QQube by using a field in the QB Company Information screen that I can filter on in MS Query. This will avoid individually naming each and every Company I do/don't want in a filter. 

I could repurpose a field like "Fax," but I noticed in the Company Files Setup in the QQube Configuration Tool that there is a "Note" field after "Country" and before "Phone." I can't find this field in QB anywhere. Does this field actually exist in the QB data? How can I edit it?

That field is exposed by the Intuit Software Development Kit, but exposes no information.
