I have a job cost pivot table that subtotals after each main category of construction. At the end of each category there is a line of zeros with the title of (blank).
Is there any way to prevent these from appearing in the pivot table? These reports are presented to multiple people and the (blank) lines are extremely distracting.
I have attached an Excel sheet showing the problem.
What you need to do is add more detailed information to your report, e.g. transaction type, transction number ,date, etc. so you can see what transactions are containing 'no item' - OR - something has been posted to the parent item, instead of one of the sub items. I would lean towards the latter. But bringing in the transaction details, will help you immediately spot the problem.
