Report for Last Transfer Date by Serial Number | CLEARIFY

I am trying to organize data into a report to show an item inventory listing down to serial number level and include the last date the item was transferred? would really appreciate any help

Hi Jeff,

I'm guessing you are using the Excel Add-In to accomplish this? To be honest, I almost exclusively use Crystal Reports because I don't know how to do this in Excel. Someone in this group would probably recommend Power Query under the Excel hood because you would need to calculate the Maximum value of the CalYr Txn Date for any Inventory Transfer transaction type when grouped on Item Name. Don't know if that points you in the right direction, but worth a shot.

Jeff, While Angela uses Crystal Reports the process is still the same.  The Excel Addin is not really going to cut it.  But would be PowerPivot with a measure (formula) to calculate or find the Last Transfer.  You have several solution provider  "geeks" on here that would be  willing to help you out.
