This Excel feature allows you to create custom groups, and can be particularly helpful in the Financial Summary data models when you want to group accounts in a manner that is different from the QuickBooks natural order.
For this example, we are going to combine two bank accounts under one name: You click on two contiguous rows, then click on the ‘Group’ option on the Excel Data Ribbon.
