Introduction to the Crystal Reports Designer

Report Sections

1. Report Header - Repeats Once per report
2. Page Header - Repeats on every page
3. Group Header - Has option to repeat or not repeat on each page
4. Details – Generally contains all of the data, row by row
5. Group Footer - Has option to repeat or not repeat on each page
6. Report Footer – Repeats Once per report
7. Page Footer – Repeats on every page

Reports can be split into multiple sections for easier formatting or to suppress one section based upon a particular condition and showing the other based upon the same condition.
