Single-User installations are simple, and encouraged for evaluations. Multi-user installations on a local network may or may not require IT assistance. But remote desktop environments most likely will.
Multi-User (Hosted or Remote Desktop Environment). The QQube database is installed under a specific dedicated server user, and communicates with QuickBooks via a client copy of QuickBooks. Remote users will have access to view synch logs, and run reports. You can also schedule automatic synchs.
This is a required method if anybody remotely logs in to the server to use QuickBooks.
