Prepare QuickBooks, Create Users, Invoke Wizard

 

STEP [A]  Review the Pre-Install Checklist

Ensure that you have reviewed the Pre-Install Checklist, including technical hardware/software specs, QuickBooks and application pre-requisites; QuickBooks file considerations, and what the limitations are in the synch process.

 

STEP [B]  Choose the Correct Install Option

Confirm that you have chosen the proper installation type whether for a single-user on a workstation or a terminal server environment which requires a dedicated synch server user.

 

STEP [C]  Get Up and Running

Create Connection Users.  You will create a regular QuickBooks User with unrestricted access to the QuickBooks data.  Enterprise users will create an additional Custom Reporting User for access to additional extraction features.
QuickBooks Preparation Checklist.  Check releases, complex password assignments, QuickBooks preferences, and presence of Modal Dialogue Boxes. Rebuilding your QuickBooks file is the final preparation.

Running the Wizard.  Walks you through the connection of your QuickBooks file to QQube, selecting your initial data models, confirming your extraction date range,  and choosing a synchronization option.  Upon completion, you can load your data immediately or defer.

Adding Additional Companies.  With the OPTIONAL Multi-Company Add-On, you can add additional companies to QQube, and aggregate information - or filter by specific company(ies) - from any data model.

 

After you have loaded your data, then learn how to use QQube.
