Beginning with QQube 6.1 we expanded the columns for Financial Summary Data Models - some of which have more than 256 columns by design. We have accommodated those cases with alternative Access data models containing specific subsets of information, which still keeps the primary functionality intact.
Further, we have included special data models to be backward compatible with QQube Versions 5.7 as they contain the same columns as what was included in those versions.
NOTE QQube 5.7 will be sunsetted February 1, 2023
Version 10 added several traditional financial summary data models where you can create your own calculations. They are aggregated by day, and allow actual "To Date" types of calculations.
These will obviously negate the need for worrying about 256 columns - because you will create the calculations you need.
This table shows when the alternative FACT tables come into play.
This explains what has been replaced to accommodate Access Limitations. (FACT tables with a suffix of "_MA")
