Why would you want to change a date of an existing holiday? One example is where the holiday lands on a Sunday, but is celebrated on the following Monday. Many retail outlets may want to be able to compare apples to apples.

In version 5.6 QQube introduced the ability to shorten the amount of dates available in the Date DIMENSIONS. NOTE: These dates do not control what data is brought in.
This feature is helpful for people who use PowerPivot tables, where certain calculations will show for EACH date available, whether a transaction exists for that date or not. It is a quirk of PowerPivot Date DIMENSIONS.
