Is there an ideal location to install the Power BI Gateway? Or a common practice across users?
We are running the QQube configuration tool on a dedicated desktop on an RDS server, and have concerns about performance impacts to the server.
The gateway is only as active as the connections to be refreshed. If QQUBE is the only souce in your environment then setting a (single) refresh after the nightly sync would have very low impact on that machine.
